IT'S ABOUT YOU...

I believe in the power of human connection and seek to create a warm and engaging environment based on a foundation of trust and mutual respect.

As a therapist - coach I seek to understand each person’s own individual experience and adapt my approach to best suit each client.  As an integratively trained practitioner I draw upon many therapeutic approaches.  Whilst appreciating that the past plays an important role in the development of our patterns of behaviour, I am also able to utilise a range of techniques to help clients cope better with everyday life.  It is about finding what is right for you.   As both a therapist and a coach, I bring a depth of experience and insight that facilitates a deeper level of discovery, understanding and self awareness.

I work with adults and specialise in anxiety, work-based stress, burnout, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties and life and career transitions, although this list is not exhaustive.  I have experience within a variety of settings, including the NHS, Mind and a cancer support centre.  I have spent over 20 years working within a corporate environment in the field of people development and I continue to do so on a consultancy basis.  I find this experience, combined with periods spent living overseas, can be valuable in my therapeutic work, deepening my understanding of the many challenges faced in the modern day world.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.  I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions.  In addition I am a member of BACP Coaching, a member of the European Coaching and Mentoring Council and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development.  I undertake regular continuous professional development and training to advance my knowledge and expertise.

My private practice is located in Teddington in South West London, a few minutes walk from the train station, on a number of major bus routes and with ample on street parking nearby. I also work online and offer walking therapy in South West London and Central London.
